How to get rid of eczema



Eczema, most often has an allergic nature, is an inflammation of the skin, often characterized by patches of bright red, intense, tiny blisters that appear and due to scratching, may break. The causes of eczema are many and diverse and they should be removed first. Often, the recommended treatments are effective in the short term, are toxic and addictive.

And often when treatment ceases, eczema recur. Some dermatologists advise patients to use herbal teas as a cleanser or external applications with preparation that have anti-inflammatory properties and soothe itching. First you have to know that you should treat eczema from the inside.

Food supplements


  • Eat foods rich in Omega 3 fatty acids (salmon, mackerel, tuna, flaxseed, walnuts, avocados) that combat inflammation and allergic reactions that often accompany eczema.
  • Take primrose oil for 3-4 months. It contains fatty acids, soothes itching and limits corticosteroid based creams. The recommended dose is 5 ml, 3 times a day.
  • Vitamin E soothes itching and dry skin. Improve your diet by eating more wheat germ, vegetable oils. Call as needed, even in synthetic form of vitamin E.
  • Vitamin A may underlie skin dryness. The pills are not recommended, vitamin A can be toxic in high doses. Its absorption should be naturally in foods such as liver, oily fish, carrots, green leafy vegetables, egg yolk, butter, dairy products and yellow nuts.


Here is how to make your homemade cream to treat eczema:


  • 1/4 cup of oats (of powder consistency);
  • 3/4 cups of coconut oil;
  • 1 tbsp. of olive oil;
  • a few drops of rosemary oil (optional);
  • small container with a lid.


Melt the coconut oil in a pan until it reaches the liquid consistency and then add the rosemary oil, if you feel like. The next step is to add the powdered oats and to mix well. Add the olive oil to offer a homogenous composition. Your cream is liquid now but it should be put in a container with a lid and store it until it cools down. In a few hours it will solidify. And that’s all, you can use it to hydrate the skin and soothe the itching.

Another option is: marigolds

They are much better than chamomile in skin disorders. Prepare an infusion of a spoonful of dried herb or four bags. Allow to cool, strain and add a few drops of lemon. When infusion is warm to body temperature, wash the affected area, which peel fell. Internally, you can use marigold tea for three weeks, three cups a day. Pour a cup of boiling water over one teaspoon of the plant, dried and shredded, or two bags, leave to infuse for a few minutes then drink warm, with small sips for 10-15 minutes.

Many people claim that apple cider vinegar protects eczema, but do not forget that after using apple vinegar there is no need to apply a moisturizer because vinegar is a drying agent. Always opt for organic vinegar, do not choose any vinegar you can find in stores. There are several ways in which you can use apple cider vinegar to treat eczema: the first method is to mix apple cider vinegar with water in equal parts and dab or spray the affected area. Repeat treatment twice a day. If you have sensitive skin, the composition should be diluted further by adding a large quantity of water.
