How to keep blonde hair healthy #hair_care_tips

When my hair gets damaged a little, either from styling, color, or sun, the outside layer of the hair, the cuticle, gets opened up. When it opens a little moisture leaves the hair. So, for most people’s hair, a good moisturizing shampoo and conditioner is the best.

When our hair gets even more damaged the cuticle opens even farther, and then protein leaves our hair. Now we’re without protein and moisture. That’s why it is good to switch off between a moisturizing shampoo and conditioner and a deep conditioner. A deep conditioner adds the protein back to the hair.

You don’t want to use a deep conditioner every day, because adding too much protein can make your hair dry and brittle. So once or twice a week, depending on how often you wash your hair, is plenty.

So, back to our original problem. What are the best Shampoo and Conditioners for dry hair?

  1. Pureology - This brand is pricey but you get what you pay for, and it works wonders with dry hair.
  2. Dermorganics - This brand has natural oils, like argon oil in it. This is really great for dry brittle hair. I would say of all three brands this my favorite, and would recommend this. I absolutely love it.
  3. Redkin - Redkin has been around for a long time, and is a classic as far as good shampoo goes. They also have great styling products. You will be happy with this line. But more with the more expensive kinds of shampoo and conditioner.
